Description:
Black and white photograph of a path being cleared in the jungle. Mr. George B. Withers is pictured on the trail. Anna Heyward Taylor mentions him in her March 3rd letter to her sister Nell, "'Kalakun' [sic] belongs to Mr. George Withers. Just the type of an aristocratic Enlishman, very handsome too...has lent the plantation to us, it being about 20 minutes walk from his place."
