Description:
Six pieces (GR298a-f) of biotite schist that are mostly black; the bits of white are probably quartz, and the mica is in very tiny bits. The samples were collected from the Ferguson Gold Mine, Clarke's Fork, Bullocks Creek, 5 miles southeast of Grover, N. C., c. 1900.
