Description:
Nine samples (GR279a-i) of diorite that contain hornblende and pyrite with a nickeliferous ore. The samples were collected from the Culbreath Mine, 12 miles south of Newberry, 6 miles northeast of the Saluda Courthouse, in the fork of Big Creek and Little Saluda River, c. 1900.
