Description:

One of three American white ibis eggs that were collected whenfreshly incubated and positively identified (see CBE2669 - CBE2671). The nest was "of sticks, reeds and leaves of salt water cedar and placed in salt water tree with 4 other nest of this species. About 5 ft. from ground. In large colony of herons, ibises, and egrets," (Cutts slip).
