Description:

One of four American white ibis eggs collected when incubation was advanced and were identified by the birds present (see CBE2651 - CBE2654). The nest was "of sticks, reed stems, and salt water cedar leaves and placed in salt water cedar tree about 8 ft. from the ground. In colony of herons, egrets and ibises," (Cutts slip).
