Description:
A sample of felsite porphyry with white, pink and black, large grains in a fine-grained, greenish matrix. Two sides were cut smooth and one was sprayed with clear enamel. It is a volcanic dike rock bearing fragments of other dark gray rocks, and light pink crystals of feldspar. Collected about six miles southwest of Winnsboro, circa 1972.
