Description:

One of two red-throated loon eggs collected by an unknown collector for Walter Raine (see CBE8871 - CBE8872). Raine noted these eggs had been freshly laid at the time of collection and described the nest as "a mass of grass and rushes on border of a lagoon." Later acquired by Ernest Tabor.
