Description:

One of two California gull eggs collected from the Farmington Bird Refuge in Salt Lake City (see CBE1903 - CBE1904). The incubation of the eggs had begun a week prior to collection and they were identified by a small nesting colony. The nest was "a slight depression in dead grasses brought in by bird. Placed between clumps of green grasses," (Stevens slip). They were later acquired by Ernest Cutts.
