Description:

One of three ring-billed gull eggs collected from the Georgian Bay in Simcoe County (see CBE1920 - CBE1922). Pickering's slip described the nest as "made of a few dead weeds and a little dead grass. Placed between the stones on small island in Georgian Bay." It was also noted that there were "many ring-billed gulls nesting on this island." Incubation of these eggs had begun at the time of collection and the parents had been observed nearby. The eggs were later acquired by Ernest Cutts.
