Description:

One of two glaucous-winged gull eggs (Larus hyperboreus hyperboreus) (see CBE1868 - CBE1869) collected from Annette Island in the Southeastern District of Alaska. Bohlman noted their incubation was well advanced at the time of collection. Bohlman's slip recorded the nest was "placed on the shore of a mountain lake, elevation 800 feet. [The] nest composed of twigs and grass. Sets of 2 and 3 taken." They were later acquired by Ernest Cutts.
