Description:

One of three glaucous gull eggs (CBE1862 - CBE1864) collected from Kelduhverfi in Northern Iceland. Palsson slip noted that their incubation had started by the time of their collection and were identified due to observing the parent on the nest. Addtionally, the egg "was placed on an islet in a large river some 200 yards from sea. Eggs resting on sand only." They were later acquired by Ernest Cutts.
