Description:

One of three black-backed gull eggs (see CBE8905 - CBE8907) found by an unknown collector for R. J. Mosher from Little Skilling Island, Kerry County. Mosher noted the eggs had been found on a "loft precipitous island rock 6.7 miles from land where the gannets breed in larger numbers than on the Bull Rock, the only two Irish breeding places of gannets." They were later acquired by Ernest Tabor.
