Magnetic Ore

Description:

Fifty-four highly magnetic ore specimens (GR359a-zz) containing black magnetite with an unidentified pink mineral. Samples were collected from Black Mine #2, about 0.2 miles southeast of the U. S. Highway 29 bridge over the Broad River, c. 1900.
