Description:
Two samples (GR840a-b) of buff-colored "Tertiary Marl" that are fossiliferous, from the Santee formation, Middle Eocene horizon. Both were collected from 4 miles northeast of Eutawville, Pond Bluff, Ferguson, South Carolina, c. 1900. The locality is now possibliy submerged underwater.
