Description:
Three blocks of hard, light gray, clay grained marl (GR915a-c). GR915a is marked "Gowrie 1859." While GR915c is impressed, on one side, with a medallion commemorating the 100 years since the death of French naturalist, Georges-Louis Leclerc, Comte de Buffon, and the mark of "Gowrie" on the other side.
