Photograph of a line of elephants walking trunk to tail down Meeting Street announcing the Sparks World Famous Circus. Paine shot the image looking northeast from the balcony of the Timrod Hotel in the vicinity of Queen Street. Cars can be seen parked on the left side of the street and a crowd of onlookers are lined on both sides. The sign advertising St. John Hotel (113-115 Meeting Street) is visible on the left and a sign advertising the O.K. Bar-B-Q (120 Meeting Street) is visible on the right.
