Description:
Photograph of several flower vendors on the sidewalk at the corner of Meeting and Broad Streets selling Christmas greenery. Paine photographed them in front of the U.S. Post Office on the west side of Meeting Street looking north. A portion of the Charleston Federal Courthouse, Timrod Inn (Timrod Hotel) and City Hall are visible in the background. Note also, the electric streetcar passing through the Four Corners of Law behind the group of vendors.
