Description:

Photograph looking north on Meeting Street captured from the photographer's second floor window (or attic) at 47 Meeting Street. The facade of the Nathaniel Russell House (51 Meeting) is visible on the left with the churchyard and domed steeples of First (Scots) Presbyterian Church (53 Meeting) in the background. Directly beyond the church domes is the Branford-Horry House (59 Meeting) with the steeple of St. Michael's Episcopal Church (71 Broad) to the right. Several automobiles can be seen through the tree lined street parked on either side. Paine noted on reverse, "Vericrome [sic] K2 Filter B.S. 12:30 100 ft. F8-1/25 Film Pack film in cut film premo Old [?] & metal septum N.G. Bulged at end."
