Description:
One of eleven ruddy duck (Oxyura jamaicensis rubida) eggs (CBE1427-CBE1437) collected from the same nest at Goose Lake in North Dakota in June of 1922. Ogg noted the nest was, "in a lump of dry rushes about 8 in. above the water lined with dry grass and down."
