Description:
Watercolor on paper illustrating the stem, leaves, stalks, buds and flowers of an unidentified plant (possibly a peacock flower) painted during an expedition Taylor took with William Beebe in British Guiana (now Guyana). Ink is used to outline the flowers, branches and leaves.
