Description:
One of three California brown pelican eggs (Pelecanus occidentalis californicus) collected from San Martin, Baja California when freshly incubated and positively identified (see CBE2321 - CBE2323). Their nest was made up of "a few sticks on top of a low bush," (Anthony slip). The eggs were later acquired by Ernest Cutts.
