Description:
Currently on exhibit in the Armory at the Museum, this double action pepperbox pistol has a top-mounted bar-style hammer and a .31 caliber, six barrelled, fluted cylinder which rotates manually. The iron frames and separate nipple shields each bear scroll and floral engravings and the bag-shaped handle is fitted with walnut grips.
