Description:

One of three glossy ibis eggs in which incubation had started and were identified by the birds present when collected (see CBE2721 - CBE2723). The nest was "of sticks, canes and salt water cedar leaves and placed in salt water cedar tree about 7 ft. from the ground. In large colony of herons, egrets and ibises on island in harbor," (Cutts sip).
