Description:

One of four glossy ibis eggs in which incubation had started and were identified by the birds present when collected (see CBE2717 - CBE2720). The nest was "of sticks and reed stems and lined with salt water cedar leaves and placed in yucca plant. Nest about a foot above the ground. In large colony of ibises, egrets and herons on island in the Cooper River," (Cutts sip)..
