Description:

One of three glossy ibis eggs that were freshly incubated and identified by the birds present when collected (see CBE2679 - CBE2681). The nest was "of sticks and some salt water cedar leaves and placed in crotch of salt water cedar tree about 6 ft. from ground. In large colony of herons, egrets, and ibises on island in Cooper River," (Cutts sip).
