Description:
One of three glossy ibis eggs whose incubation had started and were identified by the birds present when collected (see CBE2701 - CBE2703). The nest was "of sticks, grasses and wax myrtle leaves and placed in wax myrtle bush in thicket. Nest about 5 ft. from ground. On small island that supports large colony of herons, egrets, and ibises," (Cutts sip).
