Description:

One of three glossy ibis eggs in which incubation had started and were identified by the birds present when collected (see CBE2710 - CBE2712). The nest was "of sticks and reed stems and lined with salt water cedar leaves and placed in salt water cedar tree about 6 ft. from ground. In colony of herons, egrets and ibises on island in Cooper River," (Cutts sip).
