Description:

One of three glossy ibis eggs in which incubation had started and were identified by the birds present when collected (see CBE2707 - CBE2709). The nest was "of sticks and reed stems and lined with salt water cedar leaves and placed in salt water cedar tree about 4 ft. from ground. In large colony of ibises, egrets and herons on island in Cooper River," (Cutts sip).
