Description:
One of three glossy ibis eggs in which incubation had started and identified by the birds present when collected (see CBE2692 - CBE2694). The nest was "of sticks, reeds and salt water cedar leaves and placed in salt water cedar tree about 12 ft. from ground. In large colony of herons, ibises and egrets on island in Cooper River," (Cutts sip).
