Description:
One of three glossy ibis eggs that were freshly incubated and identified by the birds present when collected (see CBE2685 - CBE2687). The nest was "of sticks and leaves of salt water cedar and placed in salt water cedar tree about 8 ft. from the ground. In large colony of herons, egrets and ibises on island in Cooper River," (Cutts sip).
