Description:
One of seven pied-billed grebe (Podilymbus podiceps podiceps, Linnaeus 1758) eggs collected from Bullhead Lake in Barry County (see CBE1784-CBE1790). Original collector George Sprague noted the eggs were "nearly fresh" at time of collection. Later acquired by Ernest Cutts.
