Description:
A freshly laid Cassin's auklet (Ptychoramphus aleuticus) egg collected from Forester's Island. Collector George Cantwell noted he found the "egg at end of 5 foot burrow in the grass at top of island." He additionally notes "nest deserted - eggs usually laid in April." Later acquired by Alexander Sprunt.
