Description:
A sample of a quartzose mica schist: gold ore that is a gray, very fine-grained schist that is bearing minute pyrite crystals. It was collected from the Brassington Mine, Lynches River Creek Branch, 3.6 miles northeast of Kershaw, c. 1900.
