Photograph of (from left) L. Mendel Rivers, Margaret (Middleton) Rivers, Margaret "Peg" Middleton (Rivers) Eastman, and Robert Eastman at the Cherry Blossom Princess Ball in Washington D.C. Miss Lois Marion Rivers, the Congressman and Mrs. Rivers' daughter and Mrs. Eastman's sister, was the Cherry Blossom Princess representing South Carolina this year.
