Description:

One of ten blue-winged teal eggs that were freshly incubated when collected after flushing the bird from the nest (CBE2410 - CBE2419). The nest was "placed on a small island in Luther Marsh made of grass and down from parent bird. Well arched over with dead grass," (Pickering Slip).
