Photograph of spectators watching the horse race at the track on Belvidere Plantation. Paine captured two horses with riders racing down the homestretch. Photographer's notation on reverse, "The Belvidere Race Meet, Eutawville, S.C. Dec 1936. Paine Photo." Paine had sent this photograph in to "The News and Courier" in hopes it would be used in an article published on December 6.
