Description:
Photograph of two buildings located at the corner of State and Queen Streets. Paine set his camera up in the middle of the street to capture 30 State and 8 Queen Street and in doing so was also able to photograph three children seen in the right, lower corner. A young boy stands in front of a young girl sitting on a wooden box cradling a baby. A painted label can be seen to the left of the door facing State Street that reads, "Colored lunc[h]."
