Description:

One of two parasitic jaeger eggs (CBE1852 - CBE1853) collected from Hooper Bay in the northwestern district of Alaska. It had been freshly laid at the time of collection and Stribling noted the nesting site was "a small depression in the tundra on a small knoll about 3 miles (= 4.83 km) from the village toward the Mts. Nest located not far from a small inland lake." They were later acquired by Ernest Cutts.
