Stercorarius pomarinus, Jaeger egg
Description:
Pomarine jaeger egg (Stercorarius pomarinus) collected from Point Barrow in the Northwestern District of Alaska. At the time of collection the egg had been freshly laid in a nest "on ground composed of dry grass" as noted by collector W.E. Snyder. This egg was eventually acquired by Alexander Sprunt Jr. for his oology collection.
