Description:
A gray-white matrix of tonalite with 2-5mm xls of hornblende and biotite. It looks like, but differs from, granite by having a higher percentage of quartz (>10%). This material forms the huge (up to 15 meters in diameter) boulders of the south end of Spring Bay, Virgin Gorda, where it was collected.
