Black and white photograph of the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter "Chase" and the Lighthouse Tender "Ameria" docked at Central Wharf. Sams set his camera up on what is now Concord Street behind the US Custom House to photograph the scene. Both ships served in the Spanish-American War with the "Ameria" making two voyages carrying ammunition from the United States to Cuba. Printed from a glass plate negative held in the Museum's collection.
